CPT Sets

An admin level user may have access to create CPT sets. These are group specific, so be sure you're within the correct group before creating CPT sets.

Creating a CPT Set

  • Log in to the Charge Capture by MDTech web portal and navigate in the menu to Administration > Charge Capture > CPT Sets.
  • Enter the desired name of the set and click "Save Set", then scroll down the list to find and select the set you just created.


  • Begin by entering a procedure code you would like to add to the set, select it and the quantity you'd like to add, then select "Add to Set". You may add multiple CPT code by repeating the same steps. 
  • To add an ICD10 code, search the code you would like to add (shown below) and then click on, drag and drop the code under your CPT that had been added to the set. To add a modifier, complete these same steps within the "Modifiers" box.
  • Once you've added your desired CPT codes, ICD10 codes and/or modifiers, providers will be able to add the CPT set by searching it by name.
